School Days Eror Messages

We've used PDI School Days before their association with Photolynx and never could get this question addressed. Maybe someone at Photolynx can asnwer...
On Windows 2000 box, rendering a database will return Set:String Errors.
You click OK forever until they go away and you can proceed to render.
It happens if you go anywhere in the menus.
It does not, however, happen on a XP Pro box. Yes, I know the simple answer, switch boxes to render but it is not that simple for logistical reasons.
Is there an incompatability with Windows2000? Is there some component missing? Any thoughts?

Alex,

Try uninstalling and then renaming the c:\PDI directory. Then doing a reinstall.

There is no issue that I am aware of specifically with Win 2000. But, it could be unique to your specific box.

I've been working with our company to migrate from School Days to Imagematch. Since we still have information stored in School Days, we still require new installations.

I've downloaded the updates from this website, but still having trouble with exports in school days. When clicking Tools->Miscellaneous i get the following error message:

SD+ Utils
Can't find source database.

any assistance is appreciated; I understand this product isn't supported as Imagematch is.

Update to this version to correct the error bringing in School Days to PhotoLynx:

Michael,

The error isn't from attempting to import school days jobs from Image Match, but when executing the miscellaneous export from School Days.

Here is what creates the error:

• Open School Days Managment Plus Managment v8.0.0
• Open saved job
• select student(s) to export
• Click Tools->Miscellaneous...

Immediately after Miscellaneous option is clicked, error message is displayed:
SD+ Utils
Can't find Source Database

After a re-install with only School Days+ Management Module and Sample School Data, School Days exports function as designed.

I unchecked the box for School Days+ Capture Module...perhaps there is some error in that specific component?
